I just did the 2008.8-update to testing (om.dev) repo upgrade and
everything seems to be fine.  The only hack I did was shutdown X and
delete ~/.e first before the upgrade.

I'm confident we can create om2008 stable repo for 2009.9+x or even
2009.9 after I tried the upgrade above.
