Zhone Patch - USSD messages, locking and a couple of warnings

I hadn't realised that there was a freesmartphone list :-) I'll have to
track it down. But I won't get chance to submit it today so if you want
to take it from the site that's fine (Any parts can be cherry picked
from it and included).
