Bad Display? :-(

Hello,
since I got the Neo about three weeks ago, I've been in trouble with the
display. It is completely de-calibrated. It'is not possible to use the phone,
but I get the click-sound.
I've been to the IRC and asked for a calibration program - there are two.
ts_calibrate and xtscal.
But, unfortunately, running those commands gives me the follwing output:

root at fic-gta01:~$ ts_calibrate
xres = 480, yres = 640

Sometimes, it happens that point 2 to 4 give coordinates which seem to make
sense, and I can at least use the lower half of the display, switch to the
applications menu and get a light feeling for the ui. I've never seen the
first two points with other coordinates as those shown above.
Anyway, even this half calibration is alway gone very very fast again...

Also, running ts_test, another test tool for the display, Henryk suggested to
me, give me bogus output:

root at fic-gta01:~$ ts_test
1193621557.896399: -32768 -32768 1
1193621557.911504: -32768 -32768 1

1193621558.016494: -9056 7008 1

1193621558.046386: -8840 7304 1
1193621558.061388: -8732 7452 1
1193621558.076394: -9056 7008 1

And the cursor is not following my pen. Initially it is in the center of the
display, but as soon as I touch the display, it's gone....

After working out and discussing those facts (a big thank you to everyone who
helped me!), we came to a point where Henryk told me that roh had suggested
to open the phone and reseat the display connector. It took me some time to
come back to the phone, but a couple a minutes ago, i finally opened it (as
shown in http://wiki.openmoko.org/wiki/Disassembling_Neo1973) and tried to
find the connector - without real success - where is it? :-)

Has anyone another idea what i could to to get the display working again?

Thank you,
best regards
 Markus
