Reg. battery life on the GTA01 Neo, I was wondering if anyone knows?

I have so far only been able to get around 6h of battery life out of it
(full load to shutdown due to lack of power), and I won't complain about
the battery icon showing that >50% battery is available when it suddenly
anyway shuts down.

Is the GTA01 so badly equipped HW wise that it will not be possible to
control its power usage, and to make it usable as a regular mobile phone?

I know there are some improvements on the GTA02 wrt. power management,
but is the GTA01 a lost case?

I still hope to buy a GTA02 when it becomes available to us regular
guys, but I would like to know if the GTA01 is a lost case wrt. power
handling?
