GPS on my neo

Hi,

I've been trying to use GPS on my neo for a while now,
all results have been dissapointing

i installed gpsd
it showed "no GPS device" :

Configuring gpsd
Adding system startup for /etc/init.d/gpsd.
    Starting gpsd: No  GPS device, aborting gpsd startup. Check
/etc/default/gpsd

does it mean anything?

does anyone have any pointers on how to make my GPS work?
