wiki reorg - Documentation Team

Hi,

Thanks for being so inviting. I love the enthusiasm that everyone has
to try to make this work! It's really awesome and I think we really
have potential to make positive changes happen.

However, I am seeing many individual efforts and not much effort as a
team. If we continue to work the way things are going currently, not
only are we going to get duplicated and wasteful work, but our efforts
will also be fragmented and possibly going in different directions.

Instead of everyone taking a handful of pages and just going to fix it
in an ad-hoc way, we need to coordinate our efforts towards a unified
goal. Otherwise, the result will not be improved documentation, which
is the ultimate goal for all of us.

I hope that we can take the necessary steps, as a group, to:
1) Gather all the issues we are seeing currently and identify the
underlying problem.
2) Outline 3 (or some other number) key themes we need to work towards
3) Set up initiatives that work towards those themes

Right now, I think we need someone to step up and take this team in a
direction. I would volunteer for this position, but am willing to let
someone take charge who might have more time and commitment to this
project.

Please respond in this thread with any suggestions/ideas.

Cheers!
Justin
