Do you mean the html access to buildhost.openmoko.org? That one has  
been turned off, but everything was moved to downloads.openmoko.org.
The 2007.2 image is here (only the folder was renamed to Om2007.11  
because it was released in November 2007):

The 2007.2 repository is here:
http://downloads.openmoko.org/repository/Om2007.2/

Is something missing? The goal of shutting down the html access to  
buildhost was to move and merge everything into downloads.

Exactly. Thanks! We don't promote that as much as we should, but lots  
of people working in that direction.

AFAIK the software fix solves the problem as good as the hardware fix,  
meaning there is no necessity to do the hardware fix.
