07.10 is in-kernel inside the openmoko architecture. you don't want one
kernel-userspace-kernel roundtrip for every ip packet that you send or
receive. Yes, on CSD, HSCSD and GPRS you can actually still afford it
(at even increased latency). But as soon as you go EDGE, 3G,
HSDPA/HSUPA, then you just cannot afford it anymoer.
