I think this is an issue we can safely ignore. First of all, I doubt
anyone will actually want to try to debug that mess. Second, this is
something that only happens in the chip we have. Any future project
would use a different CPU (the 2442 is getting old, the MCP we have
doesn't have enough RAM, and it's only SDR to start with.)

I wouldn't worry about the cost of adding 0Rs (which is near-zero),
but about adding a lot more components to the board, making it more
crowded.

Again, please don't try to over-optimize the gta02-core design for
longevity. That's not what it's for. The more time we spend fussing
over minor details, the longer it will take until we get a chance to
get our hands on something we really want.
