Hmm, are you referring to the February 2007 Rev. 2 data sheet and the
Obtober 2008 Rev. 4 data sheet mentioning single/double click detection
but AN2335 Rev. 2 from October 2006 not ?

I have to admit that I'm a bit puzzled about this myself. After all,
this is supposed to be the same chip. But then, I'd be inclined to
trust a recent data sheet more than some old application note.
