Yup. There are still many roles to fill. I'm actually less concerned
about the engineering side than about the organizational side. E.g.,

- Steve has asked that we set up some form of organization (e.g., a
  non-profit) to which he can release material. (We need components,
  BOM, and Gerbers. The latter for the exact board geometry and also
  to check the footprints.)

- when it comes to making PCBs and SMT, someone will have to act as
  contact for logistics, payment, and shipping.

Thanks ! There are a few details I'll change, but the big picture is
right.

Regarding KiCad use: I think it should be possible to just check out
http://svn.openmoko.org/trunk/gta02-core and then point KiCad to
trunk/gta02-core/gta02-core.pro without requiring any further setup.
Or at least that's the idea. Does this work ?
