Somebody in the thread at some point said:
| sorry for jumping into this thread so late...
|
| we are at the point of considering having 2! external accessible usb
| connectors for reasons of not wanting to sacrifice charging while using
| usb client OR host as well as providing power to usb host if wanted as
| well as having a internal debugboard.

My understanding of where we are headed is two micro USB B, probably
both accessible from the outside.

The wall adapter would be micro USB with shorted D+ / D-.

You can stick the adapter in either jack and it should charge the same.

One jack is actually the debug USB port, but to most people it will be
the jack they use for the adapter only.

The other is full 480Mbps OTG using the same arrangements we have in
GTA02 currently including 500mA pump. But we additionally need to
detect D+ and D- shorted if the 6400 doesn't help us.

Both the charger and any breakout cables would all be completely OTG
standard items.

Is any of this actually objectionable, broken or bad, as opposed to "not
what we did before"?
