Yeah, GPS with external antenna was generally better that with
internal. Not much, but noticeably. It could be though, that the
external antenna has an overall better reception than the internal one.

Hmm, tough to say. When I wasn't pointing the antenna directly at the
sky it was somewhat of a gamble when it would synchronise, get a
fix, ...
Other than that it was pretty consistent.
