Well, my plan is currently to make the software public 2-3 days before
easterhegg, and to give a talk about this software there. 

It would be nice, if I could benchmark this software on the neo before
publishing it and add the performance results to the announcement, but
running some tests on easterhegg would be an alternative solution.
Because the software will be allready public on easterhegg, you can even
run the tests yourself.
