How to rebuild xorg-xserver

Dear All,

I would like to add 18BPP support xorg-xserver. Now, I found a patch 
https://svn.jerryweb.org/wsvn/public/mkezx/trunk/packages/xorg-server/patches/ezx/02_ezx_18bpp_shadowfb.diff?op=file&rev=2847&sc=1.
But have no idea how to add such patch to openmoko (maybe OE), and then 
rebuild the Xserver. Can anyone give me some idea? Thanks so much!
