Clipboard Support

I'd be curious to hear how clipboard support is going to be implemented?
Standard X-Windows, or something more elaborate? I'm sure it is there, just
haven't heard. Obviously, it should be supported across all apps so that
_stuff_ can be copied and pasted between apps. Like a url or email address
to the appropriate web or contacts.
