You can make your own Distribution on top of the openmoko distribution:
they are in oe/conf/distro/

create a new file mydistro.conf or something like that
------------------------8><----------------
#@TYPE: Distribution
#@NAME: MYDISTRO
#@DESCRIPTION: My own OpenMoko Distribution

require conf/distro/openmoko.conf

# select some extra packages for your distibution
MYDISTRO_EXTRA_RDEPENDS += "classpath jamvm"

# You can also add you own feed location for your repo
FEED_URIS = "myowndistro.org##ftp://ftp.myowndistro.org/ipk"
----------------------8><------------------------

Change DISTRO in build/conf/local.conf to your distro: DISTRO = "mydistro"

I hope this helps..
