Is something broken ? (failed compile of libX11-X11R7)

This sort of thing comes up a lot with the current build system - it's
the price you pay for staying on the bleeding edge.  That being said,
what do you guys think about tracking known good revisions?  I don't
think it would be hard to set up another Makefile that pulls from those
revisions, as the variables are already in place to do it.
