And even more, if we want some LEDs flash a status indication (e.g.,
SMS waiting) while the system is in deep sleep, the MPU should do
this too. No point in waking up the CPU twice a second just to flash
a LED for a few ms.

One more item for the MPU's "must do" list, if it isn't already there.
