Originally, it was disabled because the NAND driver didn't support
ECC for of the "large page" Flash in the 2442.

We first implemented that in HXD8 and then I also put it into our
mainline. Unfortunately, this caused the stray CRC errors, but
there was no obvious cause for them, so I disabled it again until
further analysis.

Eventually, Matt found that the u-boot vs. kernel difference in
the algorithm was to blame.
