Maybe you should create it as a child of the touchscreen device /sys,
then symlink it to /sys/class/input/touchscreen0/calN or something along
those lines?

I don't know what the spread of touchscreen results look like in bulk,
but I guess it varies enough the touchscreen can't really be relied on
for much without individually customized calibration, so you might as
well leave it alone by default.

After we done this, we should clean it into a patchset and request some
comments about it upstream I think.
