OK I understand there is not much we can do about that the way things
are set up.

Injection is likewise screwed? (injection would necessarily need to be
sans encryption).

Well its less of a loss I think considering it is generally a mobile
device.  Ad Hoc will take care of that end I should think.

Still, keeping it in perspective, if we have solid WPA with the new
firmware we really ticked the critical boxes on this subsystem, it's a
good situation.
