Hi Maddog -

These new "A5" boards will ship with a smart battery that contains a
"coulomb counter" monitoring charge going in and out.  Because the
monitor is tied to the battery and is adaptive to the behaviour of the
cell, we exprect to have *really* good information about battery life.

This is plugged into the Power Supply class in Linux, you can find
current in uA, voltage in uV, estimated time to empty and full down /sys
together with what should be a quite accurate "capacity" figure in %.
