I did rc8 in git yesterday, it's fine.  I think the above are less
critical for Feb 5th than the below FWIW.

I'm all EABI here and it didn't make trouble, except you must have the
U-Boot build patch

If you run out of time for the accelerometer I am curious about it.

Yeah when I looked at what was left from the critical list, really the
need for working resume stands out so I started on it.
