Oh, just come out of reset quickly and switch off the FETs. Before
the PMU has left reset, it won't listen to I2C anyway, so everything
that could be trouble (AUTO, maybe BAT) needs to be controlled
directly anyway.

Let's see how the next round of that one will go, in light of the
case for the MPU getting stronger.

It actually went pretty much like we predicted: we couldn't tell
any specific problem the MPU would solve, but we were sure that
it would eventually appear. And so it did, even earlier than we
throught.
