plus, developer-wise, don't lose site of the fact that usb-over- 
ethernet is not nearly as cool as ssh-into-freerunner-over-wlan, with  
the freerunner filesystem mounted locally.  actually this is a pretty  
good config for hacking code - use your local machine to hack code,  
build local and deposit on the freerunner-mounted filesystem, then ssh  
in over wlan to test/debug/hack/etc.  or, even better, use wlan to  
compile (put the ssh build command in a Makefile, yumm...)
