100% ACK.
We won't solve the "communication problem" by reducing content to a bare 
minimum (better switch to German for lingua franca ;). I'd rather think it 
could kill the project. The 5-line limit kills educated discussion. For 
public lists like this one you won't enforce it anyway (and we won't learn 
Chinese this fast).
Maybe we have to invent an "@all" tag in first line of msg. And try to talk 
more "pidgin" :) (<quote name=sean>don't mince your words</quote>)
