I just tried Raster's #ff9100 full-screen image on my v5 and my v3,
and it flickers on both. A bit worse on v5. v5 has the RC filter
(that's C6008 we're talking about, right ?), v3 doesn't have the RC
filter but has the 1.8V issue.

My v4 isn't healthy enough to actually boot, but the splash screen
also shows flicker (at the bottom). v4 shouldn't have the RC filter
and it should have 1.8V fixed.

If green makes the flicker go away, why don't we just change our
color scheme from orange to green and call it the "Greenphone" ? ;-)
