Well, nobody made a move on it yet since we have other fish to fry.  The
'decision' is limited to our stance on it, but I tried to think of one
thing the current method has going for it compared to this new way and
really a few seconds faster to ready for DFU is all I can think of.
That doesn't balance the costs of U-Boot.  It is a superset of existing
functionality.

One has to blink a few times to realize what it does for you, eg DFU
over USB ---->  scp over Wifi.  That is a major upgrade out of reach of
U-Boot and the overall cost is negative, ie, we benefit by not having to
maintain the U-Boot codebase, the wifi driver and dropbear already exist
and get re-used as-is.

If you have any ideas or concerns about it, fire away, the only thing
that is 'decided' is that three of us anyway looked hard at it and liked
what we saw, hopefully after some musing you'll feel the same way.
