I don't see how that will help, because in the case of the framebuffer
being fully a bad colour, I see the (pipelined, registered) pixel data
to the LCM is at a static level for the whole frame. But maybe
something else goes on with the LSB, or somewhere else we didn't
understand yet, let's hope it makes a difference.
