Understood.

Then in this case the job would become to do our best to find a better
CPU from another vendor that doesn't needlessly try to keep really
pretty harmless data private.  Then we don't "hobble the product".

It would be a big shame for Samsung though because we would definitely
be aiming to get 6400 into mainline kernel as part of our process, as we
discussed before.
