That's the current idea, the "MPU" that gets mentioned is this very low
power "always-on" processor.  It's pretty weak (currently 16MHz is
mentioned) but consequently it is not much of a factor for power
consumption.

If we are smart about what we route through it, we can really reserve
the more power hungry CPU + Memory + display for only when they are
definitely needed while still giving a consistent and responsive device
to the user at all times.
