What do we really need that dbus interface for...  we have a fixed mux
mapping that is driven from the choice of telephony module and never
changes... dbus never pays off for us.  The pty allocations can exist
for the time the daemon is up and be released when we kill it.

We can configure dbus and glib out then, simplifying this project?
