Thanks for the patch, I sent it in... the composite gadget stuff is
brand new upstream, I guess this is dust from there about that, if it
isn't fixed already it can make sense for you to send it there.

No it's broken for me too on last stable-tracking branch, I mentioned
this last week about something else.

I'll rebase it against upstream later and we'll see if it got fixed in
the meanwhile.
