In the end, this is something Google has to resolve with mainline
anyway. We'll just track whatever gets decided there.

Regarding this, it would be good if you could indicate the origin
of your patches more clearly. I don't know how work on Android is
structured, but I'd suggest you have a look at item 12 of section
1 of Documentation/SubmittingPatches and consider how the signing
process applies to this work.
