In /dev/mmcblk0p1 i have two kernel, uImage-om-gta02-latest.bin (take from
http://shr.bearstech.com/shr-testing/images/neo1973/) and your kernel, of
course i changed their names for convenience.

root at om-gta02:/# df -h
Filesystem Size Used Available Use% Mounted on
rootfs 246.6M 224.6M 22.0M 91% /
/dev/root 246.6M 224.6M 22.0M 91% /
udev 2.0M 4.0k 2.0M 0% /dev
shmfs 58.4M 0 58.4M 0% /dev/shm
/dev/mmcblk0p1 14.9M 4.4M 9.7M 31% /media/card
volatile 58.4M 276.0k 58.1M 0% /var/volatile

root at om-gta02:/media/card# ls
lost+found uImageAndy uImageShr

In /dev/mmcblk0p3 i put SHR rootfs.

mount /dev/mmcblk0p3 /media/mmcblk0p3
root at om-gta02:/media/mmcblk0p3# ls
bin etc linuxrc media sbin usr
boot home local mnt sys var
dev lib lost+found proc tmp

I have the same errors trying to boot SHR from SD with both kernel.
