Sounds great !

By the way, one item that would be pretty high on my usability wish
list is the ability to switch on the LCM and to have Qi print what
it's doing. This would pull a lot of evil code into Qi, but perhaps
this could be automated. I've done similar things in other projects,
where substantial portions of kernel code get extracted and merged
into a new program, e.g., the tcsim network simulator (tcng.sf.net).

I think it would be good if we could avoid forking Qi. It's still
young and there are so many interesting things that could happen
there.

We can certainly batch any changes specific to Openmoko hardware
such that they don't become too much of a hassle.

Can you please drop us a note once you've started your new Qi
"master" tree ?
