gta02_packaging_config often hangs during boot

   With andy-tracking gta02_packaging_config, the kernel often hangs after
the "Freeing init memory: 148K" message. Even the console cursor stops
blinking. This is when booting from NAND U-Boot with these parameters:

   I've never seen it hang when booting from NOR boot. Parameters:
