Setting app nor opkg update seem to be working

I recommend using SHR's unstable image, the July 3rd image, as an everyday
phone. They just came out with a new build today which I have not yet
tested. om2009, though pretty reliable, is lacking in terms of other
software you can install to make a nice smart phone.

On my phone I have GPS working (Initial TangoGPS may take 15 mins to locate
position), GPRS is reliable (not quite stable). I can send and receive text
messages and phone calls reliably.

It is the most stable distro and usable distro out there that I've tested.
Only tweak that I had to do is to low Control.4's value to below 100 in
/usr/share/openmoko/scenarios/gsmhandset.state to avoid echos on the other
end for calls.
