I haven't followed this discussion, the 1 s delay is for the time it takes
until the GSM modem comes up ? If yes, there is probably not much
room for optimization, there is not just the GSM firmware but also the
FLUID bootloader, it probably also waits a little bit to see if FLUID
is talking to him.
