console= is additive though, additional console= just make more
consoles.  Append method only blocks actual deletion of default console
then.  It's so specialized it doesn't seem a problem.

If the idea of console=[tty0] is to turn syslog traffic on and off for
the LCM then it's really a similar issue to loglevel=, both are
something you might want only if you are having trouble booting, and
both are themselves canned actions.  Maybe there's a more adaptive
Windows 95 style solution possible where the device-specific code can
mark something like PMU spare register bit in Qi and clear it in
userspace... if we see the bit set next time in Qi we append these
troubleshooting options ourselves in Qi.
